I found it quite interesting how different narratives of the same story " the lady with the pet dog" could tell two completely different stories. Both stories have the same characters but, each story shows a different view of the same situation.the author Chukhov shows the Mr. Dmitrich Gurov who is unfaithful to his wife and a women lover. Chukhov doesn't mention that Gurov is seeking love, but that he loves the company of women. Chukhov doesn't give us that much opportunity to get to know who Anna, we just know her as his lover and the lady with a heavy heart. Oates on the hand shows that Gurov as being madly in love with Anna and willing to do almost anything for her. Oates showed the other said of the heavy hearted Anna who was also an unfaithful spouse. I learned from Oates that the lady with the pet dog is not a Innocent
